Bigfoot, also commonly referred to as Sasquatch, is a ape-like creature said to inhabit the forest. In the United States we have numerous names and descriptions depending on the region in which they are allegedly sighted.
Bigfoot is most commonly described as a large, muscular, bipedal ape-like creature, broad shoulders, roughly (8–9 ft), tall and covered in black, gray, brown, or dark reddish hair. with eyes that "glow" yellow, green, or red at night. Eating everything from berries, leaves, nuts, and fruit to salmon, rabbit, and deer.
the creature is said to leave enormous footprints claimed to be as large as (10-16 in) long and (6-8 in) wide. and make a variety of vocalizations such as howls, screams, moans, grunts, growls and whistles as it travels from food source to food source
Some Bigfoot researchers allege that Bigfoot throws rocks as territorial displays and also stacks rocks for unknown reasons. Other alleged behaviors include audible blows struck against trees or "wood knocking", Structures of broken and twisted foliage waved and crisscrossed to form nest. In some reports, small trees have been bent, uprooted, stacked and even stuck in the ground upside down. leading some to theorize that they are potential territorial markings. Some instances have also included entire deer skeletons being suspended high in trees. The Red Wolf was reintroduced into Eastern North Carolina in 1987. Although the population rose to as many as 200 individuals at one point, the population has declined to only 8 There are many stories as to what happened to these animals as well as other endangered and extinct predatory animals. Some say these red wolves simply began migrating North disappearing into the vast forests of the Appalachian mountains and still live there to this day. Other more sinister stories say that Bigfoot killed these animals off because they were destroying the deer population which was said to be one of the creatures main food sources. one of the more unbelievable twists to this story say that Bigfoot adopted these animals as pets and begun using them the way we use hunting dogs. Claims about the origins and characteristics of Bigfoot have also crossed over with paranormal claims, including that Bigfoot, extraterrestrials, and UFOs are related or that Bigfoot creatures are psychic, can cross into different dimensions, or are completely supernatural in origin. Since 2001 reports continue to grow about Bigfoot being seen with endangered and extinct animals as well as other cryptids, leading some to think there may be some truth to the storys.
